To be able to create child projects and register work on them, you first need to activate the subproject functionality for that specific customer. This is done according to the following:
- Position yourself on the customer’s customer card, down at the section about invoice information.
- Press Edit and set project invoicing to Yes.
- You will now be able to see a new section on the customer card called child projects, where you can create different child projects for the customer by pressing Create. Here, you can also edit or delete child projects belonging to the customer.
Register work on a subproject
Adding a subproject for an employee, for him/her to be able to register work on it, is done through the employment agreement for that person.
- Navigate to the candidate’s employment agreement for that specific project, and you will be able to see that there is now a Child projects box.
- Here, you can add the child projects you created for the customer earlier. You may also set up new child projects for the customer directly from the employment agreement associated with the project. Remember that you will need to add the subproject for the employee after setting up the subproject, even when it has been created from the employment agreement.
When the employee registers work, or you register work on behalf of the employee, there will be the option of choosing which subproject to register the work on.
